Seattle Rock 'n Roll Training: Take 2!
So far the Rock 'n Roll is NOT sold out for this year. I'm getting registered on the 1st when I get paid. If it sells out between now and then I'm taking it as a sign from God! :)
I did find a fun training tool (thanks, Een!) on www.runnersworld.com You put in a recent "race time" (I just put in how fast I can run a 5k), distance of the race you're training for, how hard you want to train, how many weeks you want to train, etc. It puts together a pretty cool training calendar for you that includes easy runs, tempo runs, and speedwork. I started yesterday with a mean 2 mile run haha. It starts easy, but gets tough quick! I'll be running 7 miles by March. Yikes! The only downside is that the longest you can set your training for is 16 weeks so I kind of had to make up two separate programs and squish them together for my 22 week time frame.
Sorry I have nothing clever to write about today. Off to bootcamp!
