I don't need to walk around in circles, walk around in circles...

I'm finding myself bored with running. I don't know if its that the novelty has worn off, the distances are getting longer so I'm actually putting in more time each week, or if I'm just in a slump. But right now I would rather watch grass grow than run another mile!! And we're only at 6 miles. I can't imagine how boring it is when you're running 12...or 26.2 I am nostalgic for the days that I was trying to decide what kind of work out to do. I miss my Biggest Loser Cardio video and my Nia classes. I want to go hiking and swimming and do yoga. I don't want to run for an hour and end up at the same place I started! A big circle around our neighborhood 4x a week is getting quite old. Who in the world decided that it was a good idea to just go run around for no reason? To be running this much I should be being chased by a large life-threatening animal...or chasing after the guy who stole my purse...At this point I am having serious doubts about this marathon running idea. Why did I want to do this again?!? What good could this possibly do me? Maybe I should just go back to running to catch the bus!

  1. Bad Hannah Bad..... Just think of how much better and healthier you feel.

You got me into this running. You can't back out now :-)

  2. it's all about changing it up. Try running up stadium stairs or doing soccer workouts or something a few days a week instead of running. It'll get some other muscles working but still giving you some cardio and running-like workouts. Better than quitting altogether!
